Welcome to my website!! My name is Dawn Pettengill. I'm from the most beautiful
district in Iowa, District 39, click
here which is Benton County and a portion of
Iowa County.
The first session of the 82nd General Assembly ended on April 28, 2007.
My focus in the next session will be on creating opportunity for all, increasing
public safety, promoting responsibility and protecting and enhancing our great communities.
This website can serve as your introduction to the Iowa Legislature. The links provided
will take you to the members of the General Assembly, the Bill Book, audio of House
and Senate debate as it's happening at the Capitol and more.
While it's the experience of a lifetime to serve as your legislator and I am working
very hard for you, I want you to know - I don't forget what an honor you've given
