If you know of any high school juniors or seniors who might be interested in the 2009 House or Senate page program, the applications are now available. Students can access page applications and information about the program at www.legis.state.ia.us/PageInfo. The deadline for applications is October 3, 2008.
Since I've been your representative, we've had three young people from our district serve as pages and my chief of staff is a former page. The page program is, without a doubt, the experience of a lifetime for a young person who is interested in the political process.
