Dear Friends and Neighbors, Hope this newsletter finds you all healthy and happily getting ready for a nice holiday week. I've been shopping, drafting bills, wrapping, attending meetings, decorating, planning speakers for my committees, visiting friends, and so much more. It's great fun and I love to be this busy. One thing I am particularly proud of is the fact that I did not spend a single dime outside of Benton and Iowa counties for Christmas presents. Last year I almost made it, except for a couple of Barnes and Noble purchases. It's very important and I can't encourage you enough...Shop Locally!
